Atletico Offer Forlan to Madrid?

Atletico Madrid are not normally do business with city rivals Real Madrid. However, due to several considerations, Diego Forlan Atletico reportedly offered to Madrid.

The news first diendus by Marca newspaper. Madrid newspaper was launched when the offer is not submitted directly, but through intermediaries.

Still according to Marca, Atletico Madrid Forlan membandrol reputedly a price of 18 million euros. This price is pretty ‘skewed’ because only half of the buy-out clause in the 2010 World Cup Best Player of that – and the price is still negotiable.

But how is it possible, a club offering its best players to rivals? Allegedly, the offer was actually made Forlan at the request of Atletico coach Quique Sanchez Flores.

“Atletico intends to proclaim the possibility of transfer Forlan in January with reason: the request of coach Quique Sanchez Flores,” wrote Marca was quoted as saying by AFP.

Forlan was undergoing dry phase in this 2010-11 season. Uruguay 31-year-old attacker was only scored three goals, the last one he booked on 11 September.

Madrid itself has not formally responded to the news. Marca said that the current Los Blancos ‘Forlan will not be interested’, but they also have principles ‘should never say no’.
